KBZ Bank proudly celebrates the success of the HerBiz Cohort: Leveraging the Success of Women’s Business, in collaboration with the Business Coalition for Gender Equality (BCGE), on February 6th at the KBZ Learning Academy.

Our goal is to foster diversity and support initiatives that promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and we demonstrate this by empowering women business owners through our impactful  initiatives. The collaboration with BCGE on the HerBiz Cohort 1, which took over four months, focused on nurturing 21st-century leadership skills for (20) women leaders in the MSME sector.

This event was a success with opening remarks from Mr. Devanandan Batumalai, Managing Director of KBZ Bank, and Daw Aye Aye San, BCGE board member, followed by an appreciation speech from Daw Kyawt Kay Thi Win, Country Director of BCGE. The event featured motivating stories and insightful mentor-mentee discussions. We are proud to support this program, which enhances the capabilities of women leaders through effective mentorship and guidance.

From this initiative alike, we look forward to continuing to support and uplift women in business in the future.
