1.KBZ Bank “A Chance to Win 1 million Kyats Every Day” period is from September 5, 2022 to September 30, 2022 (20 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays).
2.The purpose of the KBZ Bank “A Chance to Win 1 million Kyats Every Day” Campaign is for new and old Individual and Corporate customers of KBZ Bank who open a new Ordinary Account or Fixed Deposit or Cash Account type during the Campaign period to get a chance to win Lucky Draw prizes during the Campaign period. Customers who open such accounts will earn 1 ‘Lucky Draw’ chance for every Kyats (MMK) 100,000 deposited into the new account opened. Existing customers who deposit or make/receive transfers of 100,000 Kyats into their existing account will earn one Lucky Draw chance as well.
– Example: If a customer opens a new Fixed deposit (Ordinary Account or new Cash Account) and deposits MMK 100,000 into it or if an existing customer deposits or receives the transfers of 100,000 Kyats during the Campaign period, they will earn ‘1 Lucky Draw chance’. For every MMK 100,000 a customer deposits, he/she will get 1 Lucky Draw chance. If the Customer deposits or receives the transfers of 1,000,000 Kyats, he/she will get 10 Lucky Draw chances.
3. The following are eligible transaction types to earn a Lucky Draw in the Campaign:
3.1. For Fixed Deposit (FD) Accounts (Ordinary FD, Special Cash FD, Instant Cash FD, Cash Converter FD) – open a new FD account and deposit in cash or through transfers.
3.2 For Cash Accounts (Savings, Current and Call) – Cash deposits only into new or existing accounts.
3.3 For Ordinary Deposit Accounts (Savings, Current and Call) – Cash deposits or CBMNet and Inward Cheque Clearing transfers only into new or existing accounts.
4. The winners will be chosen daily and announced the next business day. The customer agrees and acknowledges that KBZ Bank may use the customer’s name and phone number (not full digit) in order to announce the winners of the prize through social media and website. Winners will receive the cash prize as a credit to their Cash or Ordinary Account of their choice within ten (10) business days after the announcement of the winners. The credited business day may vary if the business days fall on public holidays or due to events outside the control of KBZ Bank. The credited account must be the winning customer’s own existing individual account or in the case of a Company, the existing Company account only.
5. The “A Chance to Win 1 million Kyats Every Day” Campaign prize is MMK 1,000,000 per winner DAILY during the campaign period.
6. A customer is eligible to win one (1) time only during this Campaign period and will be ineligible for a second prize during the Campaign.
7. KBZ Bank employees will not contact participants in the Campaign to ask for OTP or PIN of customers participating in this Campaign.
8. KBZ Bank customers are strictly forbidden to cheat in any form or manner during the “A Chance to Win 1 million Kyats Every Day” Campaign. KBZ Bank has the right to take necessary action against any Customer who is suspected to be cheating in any form and/or manner.
9. In the event of any dispute arises between KBZ Bank customers and KBZ Bank regarding this Campaign, such dispute will be examined carefully and finally resolved by the authorized officers of KBZ Bank without any prejudice to the statutory rights of customer.
10. Customer acknowledges and agrees that there is no right to receive any compensation as a result of cancellation or termination of this Campaign for some reasons and/or variation to these terms and conditions without giving any notice.
11. KBZ Bank, at any time, shall have the right to amend or cancel or terminate the terms and conditions and or Campaign and the benefits or features regarding this Campaign conditionally for some reasons without giving any notice.
12. All normal KBZ Bank terms and conditions apply. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
13. KBZ Bank reserves the right to revise initiatives introduced in response to COVID-19 and natural disasters or force majeure events at any time, as the situation evolves. KBZ Bank will not be liable to the Customer or any other party or be considered in breach of these terms and conditions for a failure to perform, or delay in performing, any such obligation set out in these Terms and Conditions while those circumstances continue.
14. These terms and conditions are made in both English and Myanmar and both versions shall be equally authentic and effective. In case of any discrepancy between two versions, the Myanmar version shall prevail.
