New Cash Account Referral Campaign – Terms & Conditions

  1. KBZ Bank New Cash Account Referral Campaign period is from September 10, 2021 to October 15th, 2021.
  1. The purpose of the KBZ Bank New Cash Account Referral Campaign is to appreciate the existing customers who refer their friends, relatives and other contacts to open Business New Cash Accounts during the campaign period. 
  1. KBZ Bank existing New Cash Account (or Operating Accounts, as they were formerly named) customers who refer a new customer to open a Business New Cash Account during the campaign period are eligible to receive monetary rewards known as ‘referral fees’ paid directly into their existing Saving Account or Current Account. 
  1. An existing New Cash Account customer who successfully refers a new customer to open a Business New Cash Account will be paid a referral fee of 10,000 Ks for every eligible Business New Cash Account opened during the campaign period.
  1. The referral takes place in the branches, with the new customer filling in a form to provide the name and phone number of the existing New Cash Account customer who referred them. 
  1. The referrer information will be checked by KBZ Bank to ensure the information provided pertains to an existing New Cash Account customer before the referral fee can be paid. 
  1. Please expect referral fees to take 7-10 business days to be credited to the referrer’s Account (Saving or Current). The credited business day may be varied if the business days fall into public holidays or in the event outside the control of KBZ Bank.
  1. In order to participate in the Campaign, Customers must already have a New Cash Account when they make a referral, and the customer they refer must open their own Business New Cash Account between September 10 and October 15th. Both customers must retain the minimum required balance in their New Cash Accounts during this period. 
  1. The referrers, who do not have an existing Saving or Current Account are suggested to open the Saving Account or Current Account (Individual/Business) within a week after referring as the referral fees will be paid directly into their existing Account. The referrer shall have an Account (Savings or Current) to receive the referral fees. When the Account (Savings or Current) opens, the referrer phone number shall be the same.
  1. The referral fees will be forfeited if the customers do not open the Account within a week after confirming the referrer by the KBZ Bank. 
  1. KBZ Bank employees will not contact participants in the campaign to ask for OTP, PIN or Account information of Customers participating in this campaign.
  1. KBZ Bank Customers are strictly forbidden to cheat in any form or manner during the New Cash Account Referral Campaign. KBZ Bank has the right to take necessary action against any Customer who is suspected to be cheating in any form and/or manner.
  1. Any dispute arising between the KBZ Bank Customers and KBZ Bank, if any, will be at the sole discretion of KBZ Bank.
  1. Customers shall not be entitled to any indemnity as a result of such unilateral cancellation and / or on variation in these terms and conditions.
  1.  KBZ Bank reserves the right, at any time, for any reason and without any prior notice, to terminate and/or  cancel and/or vary its benefits or features, and/or vary, add to or delete any of the terms and conditions.
  1. All normal KBZ Bank terms and conditions apply.
  2. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
  3. KBZ Bank reserves the right to revise initiatives introduced in response to COVID-19 and natural disasters or force majeure events at any time, as the situation evolves.
  4. These terms and conditions are made in both English and Myanmar and both versions shall be equally authentic and effective. In case of any discrepancy between two versions, the Myanmar version shall prevail.
