Terms and Conditions of “Receive International Transfers & Win Cash Rewards During Myanmar Thingyan New Year”

1. This “Receive International Transfers & Win Cash Rewards During Myanmar Thingyan New Year” Campaign is valid from 24th March 2025 to 30th April 2025. (The transfer and receiving dates must be within this Campaign period to be valid in this Campaign.)

2. The purpose of this Campaign is to give KBZ Customers who receive international remittance funds via Merchantrade the chance to win Cashback prizes. 

3. During this Campaign, all KBZ Customers who receive international transfers from Malaysia via Merchantrade through KBZ Bank or KBZPay Wallet Account  will automatically be eligible to participate in the prizes of the Campaign mentioned in Clause (5). During this Campaign, winners shall be selected every fourteen (14) days from the Campaign launch date, with fifty (50) winners per selection round.In the event of public holidays or unforeseen circumstances beyond KBZ Bank’s control, KBZ Bank reserves the right to modify the winner announcement date as necessary.

4. During the Campaign period, KBZ customers who receive international transfers through Merchantrade will receive (1) token of Lucky Draw to win the prize for each 14-day period. Each Customer will be eligible for one (1) token for each 14-day period, regardless of the number of transactions. 

5. Prizes included for each 14-day period in this Campaign are listed below.

6. For every (14) days of the Campaign period, total (50) winners for KBZ customers who receive funds through Merchantrade will be selected on Random Picker as per Clause (5) and winners will be announced via KBZ Bank’s Official Social Media Channels (with blue marks). Winners will be notified via SMS within (2) working days after selecting the winners. The winners agree and acknowledge that KBZ Bank may use the Winners’ names and phone numbers (not full digits) in order to announce the winners of the prize through social media and website. The program of (50) winners selected once every (14) days will be held a total of three (3) times during the Campaign and the total winners will be 150.

7. Cashback will be credited into the Winners’ KBZ Bank account or KBZPay Wallet account within one (2) working day after the winner announcement. However, the Cashback credited timeline may be varied in the event outside the control of KBZ.

8. KBZ employees will not contact participants in the Campaign to ask for OTP or PIN or KBZ Bank Account information.

9. During this Campaign period, KBZ Customers will be entitled to enjoy benefits stated in these Terms and Conditions, which will expire at the end of this Campaign period.

10. KBZ employees are not eligible for this Campaign. 

11. Customers are strictly forbidden to involve in any other form or manner of any fraudulent activities during this Campaign. KBZ Bank has the right to cancel and/or ban any Customer who is suspected to be involved in any form and/or manner of any fraudulent activities.

12. In the event of any dispute arising between KBZ Bank Customers and KBZ Bank regarding this Campaign, such dispute will be examined carefully and finally resolved by the authorized officers of KBZ Bank without any prejudice to the statutory rights of the Customer.

13. KBZ Bank, at any time, shall have the right to amend or cancel or terminate the Terms and Conditions and/or Campaign and the benefits or features regarding this Campaign conditionally for some reasons without giving any notice. 

14. Customer acknowledges and agrees that there is no right to receive any compensation as a result of amendment, cancellation or termination of this Campaign for some reasons and/or variation to these terms and conditions without giving any notice.

15. All normal KBZ Bank Terms and Conditions and International Remittance Terms and Conditions shall apply.

16. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

17. KBZ Bank reserves the right to revise initiatives introduced in response to COVID-19 and natural disasters or force majeure events at any time, as the situation evolves. KBZ Bank will not be liable to the Customer or any other party or be considered in breach of these Terms and Conditions for a failure to perform, or delay in performing, any such obligation set out in these Terms and Conditions while those circumstances continue.

18. These Terms and Conditions are made in both English and Myanmar and both versions shall be equally authentic and effective. In case of any discrepancy between two versions, the Myanmar version shall prevail.19.
